Hair transplantation has mainly two processes, composed by the two areas of work. The area where the hair is taken (donor area) and the area where the hair is transplanted, in both of these areas local anesthesia is applied. The local anesthesia and its effect take only a few minutes and then the operation starts. After the extraction of the hair, it will start the phase of the implantation painlessly. We often hear words by our patients such as “Was it that easy?”

This is one of the most asked question from our patients, Am I going feel pain after hair transplantation? There is usually no pain after the operation. However, some patients, for short period of time like 1-2 weeks may have little pain depending on the immune system. The feeling of pain and drowsiness, has been said by our patients, that are very low and quite tolerable.

There is bleeding and itching after hair transplantation? With the FUE technique, the bleeding is minimized and there is no bleeding after the operation. After the operation with needle thinner than one millimeter all the donor and the receiving area will heal without any kind of trace.
